Traditional mallahs are almost always worn on the right hand, wrapped around the wrist like a bracelet. If you are going to wear Mallah beads, there are a few rules you should know about. For example, it is not appropriate for your beads, either necklaces or bracelets, to ever touch the ground.
Align yourself while sitting comfortably, hold your mallah beads in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers. Starting at the guru bead, use your thumb to count each smaller bead, pulling it toward you as you recite your mantra. Do this 108 times, traveling around the mallah, until you once again reach the guru bead. If you choose to continue mediating change direction and continue to count until you reach the guru bead.
Wooden 108 beads one guru bead.
Perfect for yoga, spiritual connection and meditation.
